Well it’s almost been four years but our kitchen is finally done. Oh, where to begin. We bought this house in June of 2006. What a sight it was. This is what our kitchen originally looked like.

So we decided to gut the whole thing as this kitchen was just way to small. That two week process left us with this
(for two months):

So then, after two months, our kitchen was finally in the process of being completed! yay! And then we realized that our bathroom heater pipe had a leak and our brand new ceiling and wall was damaged and had to be ripped out 
– which left me living with this (see below) for almost three years
But after 12 hours of painting and a visit from my dad to repair the damaged textured walls – I can’t believe I’m able to say this..but it’s done!! It’s finally done!
I just want to take this opportunity to thank my husband – who I have been nagging for literally 3 years to finish this project – he did an amazing job for someone who when we bought this house, knew very little about home improvement. It’s times like these I’m glad he is a perfectionist!

YAY FOR NEW KITCHENS! Vast improvement over the one you started with– I’m so jealous!
PS- I told my landlord we’re moving in on Thursday night and she’s to have everything done by then. Let’s see how it goes! haha
